With the current massive increase of degenerative diseases, the National Institutes of Health states: “The general public will be encouraged to actively demand and intelligently apply aging-ameliorating, preventive therapies; Regulators and policy makers will be encouraged to prioritize and increase investments of public funds into aging-related research and development.”
The Institute for Regenerative and Anti-Aging Medicine (InstRAM) is a health promotion, not-for-profit DGR endorsed organisation. Our principal activity is to promote the prevention, control and treatment of disease, particularly degenerative and lifestyle diseases, using holistic approach and non-drug based medicine. Our activities are based on four pillars: clinical practice, education, research, and community involvement.
Our aim is to:
- make natural medicine of various modalities not only accessible but also affordable to the average person through subsidized services, and where possible and depending upon funds available, offering free treatments, equipment and medication
- provide education in integrative medical practices
- research new treatments for degenerative diseases
- engage the community in activities to raise awareness of degenerative diseases, their prevention and control as well as treatment by early intervention or protection against further development of such diseases. This will be in a form of participation in classes, discussions, study groups, workshops. Great emphasis is placed on mental and emotional wellbeing, promoting prevention of depression, dementia, and other mental health problems. Crucial component here is social contact, mutual support, companionship and social interaction.
